So, two good games: Kennesaw/ETSU and EWU/Montana.
It almost feels like the real playoffs begin around the quarterfinals.

I wish they would reduce the playoffs to 16 teams and focus on making it a higher quality experience. Nobody outside the top 16 has a legit shot at the title.

No one outside of the top 8 has a legit shot at the title and a 24 team field gives the same format for the top 8 that a 16 team field has except with a 24 team field the top 8 get to avoid playing games on the postseason wasteland known as Thanksgiving weekend. I say give the crappy conferences their autobids like they get in all other NCAA sponsored championships (which NDSU takes full advantage of in all the team sports other than football)... they're mostly weeded out on Thanksgiving weekend anyway.

The power conferences get more teams in than they should.
Michigan St at 15-12 did not deserve a bid.
There should be some thresholds for wins and losses applied.

I also don’t want to see the whole Big Sky or MVFC in FCS playoffs. The regular season has more meaning if you have to earn your bid.
