Cam reminds me a lot of Brock Jensen his sophomore year (2011). Watching the game you think "he was solid" and then you look at the box score and say "holy ****! he was way better than just solid!". I don't know if he'll start beyond this year but I love how he absolutely seized the moment when he got his chance to start (again).

Exactly this. We are in a great spot with Cam. Team seems to love him, making fast decisions, running has greatly improved.

If Cole takes his spot he must be the golden calf everyone thinks he is. I know biggest jump for a QB is from year 1 to year 2, but Cams first games were this spring obviously. He probably hasn’t come close to his ceiling yet.

Funny how a quiet, 19 of 23 performance makes a blowout, and the long gun, 55% on a good day plus 10 QB power runs results in painfully close games.
