    Default Games of relative importance

SDSU went down to Starkville and lost a close matchup to Mississippi State. Now this is not the same Mississippi State team from 4-5 years ago that went to back-2-back Final Fours. Then Coach Vic Schaefer left the program he built to take over the longhorn program in Austin, Texas. MSU hired Nikki McCray Penson and in the midst of the transition, graduation and multiple transfers depleted the ranks. After a dismal year as dad coach, Penson stepped down weeks ago for health reasons but prior to doing so, she tabbed Doug Novak, Bethel MN college men’s coach to be her associate. Subsequently, he is now interim head coach of Mississippi State women.

Also, in a rematch of an early season game from last season, USD hosted #1/#2 South Carolina at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls. Last years game was close, but this yer Yotes lost by 30+

Are we thinking the SD schools are down this year? Or do we think it’s early in the season still
