North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.Bob Lutz, The Wichita Eagle, August 30th, 2013
Hopefully Sam can get back soon, sounds like it was pretty scary situation for awhile but as indicated by Sam on his twitter it was successful surgery. Interesting no Skunberg today, thought Morgan gave some good minutes, would like to see him get some touches on the low block and play some inside out with him. Eady looked rusty but made some big plays at the end. Nelson need to be stronger with the ball, turnovers are starting to be an issue with. Rocky was outstanding.
Again, where's the guard play? The perimeter guards, specfically the 2, have been completely nonexistent for 2 seasons now. Why was SKungberg unavailable, just not getting the system down? It can't be because of need because they have needed a scoring 2 guard in the absolute worst way.
An update from ndsu basketball twitter account on Sam:
"Sam Griesel had successful surgery this afternoon in San Luis Obispo to repair an internal abdominal issue. He will continue to be monitored by medical staff, and we expect a full recovery."
Kudos to the person who had to stream the game from their phone on Twitter for us to watch. Not even gonna complain about the production quality cuz it was essentially on par with NDSU MVFC game of the week at some locations.
