Women open the season tonight on the road against Milwaukee who lost their opener to Ball State in overtime on Tuesday. They are a good time who went 20-8 and played in the NIT tournament last year and made it to the 2nd round. Preseason poll has them at #2 in the Horizon league and have First Team All Horizon Forward Megan Walstad. Definitely going to be a test for our ladies out the gate, should be a fun one! Game is on ESPN+

I am very very excited for NDSU women’s basketball this year. I have a sneaking suspicion we didn’t plateau after last year.

Bison hot to start the second up 24-18 just over a minute into the second forcing a quick timeout by Milwaukee.
We'll see how the rest of the game goes but Bison women look more athletic, some nice fast break transition points and solid defense.

It does look like we are playing a more uptempo this year. Looking for a faster outlet.
Milwaukee went to a 2/3 zone bizarrely....we hit 2 consecutive 3s to start a huge run. 27-18 Bison.

I have never met someone who whines and complains as much as him. And I'm an official who hears a lot of professional whining and complaining! It can't be healthy to be that negative all the time.
