Seeing as their fan base crapped on the Augie to the Summit League idea as aggressively as any, it has been interesting to watch their team perform as poorly as they have the past few years. With the endowment, budget, campus location and recruiting base they have, Denver should be competing for a Summit League title year in and year out, not losing to NAIA schools, even if they are going through a coaching transition.
