The University of Montana is not moving up anytime soon. WAAYYYYY too many financial problems at the university. Declining enrollment etc. They are not even doing FCOA right now.

Montana State has a realistic chance with the growth of both the university and Bozeman in general.

If anything I could see NDSU eventually getting an invite along with Montana or Montana State to the MWC.
the NEW BOISE STATE is NDSU's goal

Because NDSU is not a fit in any way to FBS

The ideal FBS conference for NDSU is one that matches the recruiting footprint – Central plains down to TX and east to FLA, like a big boot.

Great. Not happening. But good thought.

FCS is toast. Time to move up and play our peers. I’m tired of the “do we have an invite” argument. Go get one

If you site declining enrollment as a reason, that's 90% of colleges in the nation. You have few bucking the trend but those are probably bubbles that will pop.

FCOA is only done by a handful of MVFC teams and why would they do it at Montana schools when no other Big Sky teams do it. (to my knowledge)

Montana has the most to gain since they only get roughly 25% of their revenue from the state
