Tune up time before the Bunnies. Impose our will and some Bison football and win big as expected.

I bet we see both. And I bet Entz plays both enough to make the Jackrabbits prepare for both.

Which is fine with me because fuck Stig. We should put Jake Reinholz back there for a series to make Stig think about that too.

Things I’ll be watching today include:

    - Pregame Twitter & TV! QB decision time……
    A couple anecdotes I found interesting;
My 93 year old neighbor (long-time fan ) thinks it’s Miller Time.
She thought Quincy Patterson panicked in the pocket last weekend.

Another long-time fan, a co-worker, also thinks it’s Miller Time.
She noticed QP seems to have tunnel vision (blinders on)
when looking for a receiver downfield.

Both mentioned they are not coaches or scouts - so gave the usual disclaimers……it does show how Bison fans have been talking about what they have noticed with QBU.

    - What do the Coaches, Coach Entz in particular, think?
If they agree with my anecdotal notes, they have at least one path to travel - e.g. Patterson is banged-up so we are going with Miller……
If they don’t agree, or remain unconvinced, of my anecdotal notes, Quincy Patterson remains the starter.
    With a strong bullpen……

    - Have seen mention of NDSU being about a 4 TD favorite.
I’d be tempted to take the Sycamores, if I was a betting person.
Will the Bison play, and play-call, to the competition, similar to Grand Forks?
Just trying to overpower them, despite all the run-blitzes?
Or do we see the late Missouri State game play-calling???

    - Indiana State is very experienced on Offense, so can they get 1st downs and score on this Bison D?
The Trees show 8 seniors and 2 juniors starting for the offense, including SR QB Anthony Thompson (Northern Illinois transfer). SR RB Peterson Kerlegrand had 151 yards rushing last weekend during ISU’s 28-17 win against Youngstown State.

    - Indiana State is not so experienced on D, showing 3 seniors and one junior on their starting lineup. There are 2 FR safeties starting, looks like opportunities in both run & pass to me.

    - ISU has a nice DE in SR Inoke Moala (6’ 4” 250). Moala has 8 sacks and 12 TFL’s this season.

Oddly enough the play calls are still different with this other QB.

    Seems like a pattern.

Anybody want to issue apologies to the OC yet?

How are the coaches owed an apology when they chose to go with a quarterback for which they couldn’t open the playbook?
I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% certain.

None of us are in practices and so we don’t see what the coaches do. Perhaps Cam throws lots of INTs in practice like he almost did just now.

Point is these coaches, who are well incentivized to win, are much smarter about these choices than the likes of you and your ilk.
