I think you're taking the FCS is garbage comments to mean every team in the FCS is garbage. The commentary is more about the decision making in the FCS as a whole. The race to mediocrity at every turn and the fact that the number of actual quality programs can be counted on one hand.

FCS is sinking doesn't mean everyone and everything sucks but enough of it does that the few good ones can no longer keep it a float as a respectable level of football.

Honestly expecting another blowout win, all hype down at Misery St, until they win a game that matters then I’ll feel differently….
We played that game in celebratory fashion. We were interested in winning the game, but not making the necessary sacrifices, plays, and attention to detail needed to achieve that result. We thought we were a little too good for the 'ol Penguins. That won't happen in this game. NDSU will get Microwave State's best shot! If we can play the way we did down in Stillwater against probably the best team in the Big XII, we will have success against anyone. Easier said than done but this team has rebounded very nicely after the debacle in Ohio.

I would like to see a heavy dose of Lupke and Williams to start the game/1st half. If we are going to go with the wear down the defense option then why not let the biggest and hardest runners beat them up in the beginning and then let the faster shifty guys run away from them in the second half.
    From the movie THE PROGRAM

Regent Chairman: This is not a football vocational school. It's an institute for higher learning.
Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a damn chemistry experiment? Why don't you stick the bow-tie up your ass?

Lets face it, Bussey, Johnson and Gonnella are not going to wear out the defense as easily. Especially eight with guys in the box.

Gonnella is a tough enough runner to grate on a defense but he hasn't been healthy since the UND game.

Missouri State looks like a good team this year. I just watched the highlights of the Oklahoma State game and even though they fell behind quickly, they settled in and starting scoring some field goals, while holding OSU down. After a bonehead play by OSU on a kickoff, MSU actually had a chance to score and tie the game late in the 4th....a 4th and 14 pass was just high for the receiver.

I'm pretty impressed, not just with the outcome, but the ability to handle the early adversity and come back in the game.

Yeah but can they stop the QB up the middle 20 times???

    I'll believe it when I see it(again).
