Playoff quarter final advice needed

I was asked to do a talk on Dec. 10 in Mobile, AL. My conundrum is that is quarterfinal playoff weekend. Are those games ever Friday night? If so, no way I can make it. Also, is that the game that is sometimes at 1100 on Sat for ESPN?

Appreciate some help on this.....I may just say no as I don't want to miss the game.

That is usually the 11AM Saturday morning game.

Typically there was one quarterfinal on Friday night in the past but in 2019 they actually had 3 quarterfinals on Friday night... two were on national TV (ESPN2) and the third was just put on Friday night because the host school (Montana St) wanted to avoid conflicts with their winter commencement on Saturday.

As long as those TV spots stay the same this fall I would guess if NDSU is playing they'll be the Saturday morning 11AM game which will be on 12/11 this year. I don't think NDSU has ever played the Friday night quarterfinal and they've been the 11AM Saturday quarterfinal every year from 2013-2019.

I checked the prior schedules at gobison.com and every quarterfinal the Bison played in was on a Saturday with most games starting at 11:00 Fargo time. 3 of the last 4 played in the fall were on ESPN with the other on EPSN2.
