Chapo has always had that passive/aggressive thing about
putting down NDSU’s preferred walk on program……

Good thing Cody Mauch didn’t listen to him and not try……

Gonna need that walk-on program more than ever in a few years. I'm pretty sure these last few classes have been light on scholarship players because of the all the super seniors created by the free COVID year that's thrown the scholarship availability cycle all out of whack. But pretty soon (by fall 2025 or so I'd think???) those COVID years are going to be used up and these guys coming is as walk-ons now will be upper classmen with chances at scholarships and to be major contributors.

players on their covid year don't count to scholarship totals

Yup, perhaps it’s time to shift some of those PWO’s - who have earned it -
to partial schollies……a couple names that come to mind include two RFr -
DE Kole Menz and WR Eli Green……just guessing of course on who is getting what.

Plus a few new offers have gone out

Plus a couple older offers may still be outstanding

Plus a few more offers may go out, especially with the Transfer Portal action

Plus Coach Entz has said he likes to keep a couple schollies in his back pocket for the late signing period.
Can imagine there will be no shortage of prospects who are disappointed their FBS offers have melted away

Pretty sure that was only in the 2021 fall season... this season and going forward every scholly counts as normal I think even if it's for a super senior.

What? The roster is 120+ and we have 63 scholarships like everyone else. Some of those are partials.
