    Jacob Kilzer - 6’ 3” 200 - QB/ATH
2 Star rating by 247, 21st ranked prospect in Minnesota
Previous offers include Ohio, St Thomas

With the recent decommit of Grant Larkin, plus Devin Clark now getting FBS Track offers……was wondering if a new offer or two was in the works

Kilzer tested really well athletically at a mega Camp, getting himself on the recruiting radar

Perhaps a Preferred Walk On offer.
Tristan Alvano’s PWO offer was upgraded to a full offer.
Iowa is now getting involved as well.

Alvano kicked a 45 yard field goal to win the Championship Game,
    Omaha Westside 43
    Gretna 41

He had kicked a 57 yarder earlier in the season

    New 2023 NDSU Offer

    Vuciri Hakim
    @HakimVuciri
    Shanley ‘23 • 6’5”

Hasn’t played football very long, lots of potential there at WR, or TE if he outgrows WR.
Looked good in the playoffs for Shanley and their passing offense, on their way to the State Championship. QB Michael Rostberg also a FCS talent, is committed to St Thomas.

    Senior Season Highlights
    48 Rec 802 Receiving Yards 9 Tds
    Second Team All-State
    11AA State Champions

Vuc played football previously, had taken a year or two off before his senior year. All conference BB player as well. Very strong and athletic. Played Cornerback as well. Very physical, basically would take other teams receiver out of the game. Not afraid to go across the middle, deep and when they threw the slant it was big yardage as he would break tackles and had speed.

Good blocker as well as SHanley threw a lot of WR screens.

Will only get better. But big, tall and physical. So many options for him.

The Shanley team was loaded this past year. Maybe better next year as junior class is full of athletes and speed, whereas the senior class bigger size wise.

Conner Kraft visited kansas State as a WR recruit. Going to Play BB as SDSU.

Rostberg, the QB, was big, big arm. Threw the long ball well. In state championship team switched up to speed tempo, quick shorter passes. Offense wasn't stopped all game. But played with short field most of the game due to the defense creating turnovers. Not a physical player. Liked a clean pocket.

Shanley will have 1 or 2 senior lineman that will play somewhere. Northern Sun or similar type programs.

Next year will be more of a speed team on offense. RPO as next years quarterback will be able to get to the edges run the options and take on tacklers or run by them.

But Vuc is an excellent addition to NDSU. Following Jake Kava and Reinholz the kicker of late making an impact there.

What a difference a Bison offer makes, at least in this case!

Now 247 has Hakim Vuciri rated as a 3 Star, #2 ranked prospect in North Dakota.
iirc only one player was ranked in ND before this.

I’ll guess someone took a look at the film after the NDSU Offer, perhaps Allen Trieu, and voila’

That's generally how rankings work. They aren't subjectively evaluating the ability of the player. They are looking at the caliber of the schools recruiting them. But every Alabama recruit is a 4/5 star, but many of them probably have an offer or interest from Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson. It says a lot about the Bison if they recruiting are influencing some 3 star ratings.
