Great news! Welcome!
I was worried about him visiting Minnesota this weekend - would the Gophers offer?
It seems they did not, and now NDSU has its first commit of the 2023 class!

Is this the earliest commit in recent yrs?

In checking Tony’s handy dandy 2022 summary thread, Austin Altepeter commited on June 23 as the 1st of the class.
And Jaxon Duttenhefer - Mandan ND - was a March commit for the 2021 class.

Actually, the Kade McIntyre offer by Kansas State will be interesting
for different reasons. What’s not to like about a 6’ 4” WR who is also a sprinter in track?
KState versus Wyoming for the 8th ranked prospect in Nebraska will be made more interesting by Kade’s brother Koa having just signed in December with……Wyoming.

Koa, a safety, was also a NDSU offer last June, followed shortly after by the Cowboys offer.

With his frame he could be a DE (high school position), receiver or add weight and make him a pass catching TE. He is fast enough for receiver, blazing for a TE and quick for a DE.
