So a win is a win, and thats good.

The Offense made good steps today. It wasn't often pretty but they put up points and finished when they absolutely needed to.

But we need to figure out how to close a game with the offense. We gave Farley 4 more chances to score in the 4th. A six or eight minute drive that doesn't get points still closes that game down.

Code Green gets the game ball.

Yes, it was. Best part was watching all 3 MVFC looses on ESPN+ starting with the Bison victory. Und looked bad, USD helped them look bad. SDSU/SIU final 10 minutes or so was very entertaining football (plus the bunnies loost).

Best part watching Flosports JMU loosing. What agrate flocking day for misprints and miss quotes.

I liked the balance. QP2, despite a few really bad throws was spectacular overall vs a great team. His vertical game is impressive. Needs to work on those short passes. He must needs to keep practicing. Things like that are usually fixable with practice

The offense really needs to do better in the Red zone

QP does have a cannon but a cannon without accuracy is not good. This was my worry about him coming in. QP is a nice QB but we will see if we can win a title with a guy completing 50%. He lacks great touch on the short throws as he throws them high and with speed which is really hard for the WR to catch. I mean he even overthrew Mathis on an easy throw and that is nearly impossible to do.

Accuracy is harder than u think to fix. Lots of college QBs with big arms over the years have never fixed it. Kind of like a power pitcher that’s throws 100 but keeps hitting the center of the plate instead of his target towards the edges and never becomes a good pitcher as a result and there have been lots of them.

Offense with QP is going to get better. Defense is suprising excellent. This team has enormous potential. Coaches don't need to overthink strategy. Sometimes the team should be turned loose. They will perform. IE. Stick, Carson and Brock, let them go.
