Default UNI Post Game Thoughts & Discussion

    1) Radically different game without that 85 yard bomb to Watson imo. Playcalling was great in the first half. We reverted to "prevent offense" (as someone coined it in the GDT) in the second half.
    2) Solid game by QP over all. His TD runs were impressive since everyone including the defense knew the call before it was run. Some bad misses high all game though. Have to get him reigned in a bit. 50% completion rate isn't going to beat SDSU.
    3) Luepke needs to be the feature back. I know we have a lot of guys to get touches but Luepke needs at least 50% of them.
    4) Defensive line was so good even CAS was nice to them in the GDT.
    5) Price had a great game. I don't know why anyone would kick to him.
    6) UNI sucks lol fuck you guys
    7) Switching to the Hawkeyes game now to watch them kill my parlay.

    1) Luepke fucks, but Roehl is cock blocking him.
    2) The entire D line fucks.
    3) Patterson fucks when running.
    4) Patterson doesn't fuck when passing.
    5) Day is tougher than a 2 dollar steak. He fucks.
    6) 5-0, baby.

    9) Crown of defenderís helmet to offensive playerís helmet is targeting. Officials will be downgraded.

I’ll take the win but I can’t help but think of what could have been. Left at least 17 points out in the field.

9.) The prevent offense is a chess move so far above all of our heads that it just shows how TR is absolutely brilliant.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

That said, we played really fast in D today. Some broken plays and a few, good formation calls by UNI hurt us some.

Our Dline will keep us in a lot of games this year going forward. Hopefully Pearce (sp?) is ok.

I feel our secondary is playing well and getting better.

Not sold on O play calling yet. When Entz says we are getting in our own way, I hope he is referring to Roehl to some extent.

We had better lines on both sides of the ball, despite size of UNI (Kevin likes that size doesn’t always matter).

Special teams were excellent but for missed FG. I missed that play tho—any snap/hold issues, or unexpected D penetration?
