Trey Lance only threw for 72 vs James Madison. Is he a shitty QB? We ran for nearly 5 ypc and won.

We win because we don't care about passing stats

You are talking about ONE game...I'm talking about a history of games. Bit of a difference.
Not to mention we almost lost today and probably should have...and the lack of a passing game was a huge reason why.

I see a lot of RPO talk.. but I didn't see a lot of Run Pass Option today.

Defense played lights out. I think Rhoel has some work to do add some creativity to the passing game. Some motion to move the defense around.

As a Bison fan, I loved the bonehead play by Schuster.

As a football fan, WTF was he doing? That was an awful pass attempt. There is forcing the action to make something happen, then there was that play. It was so bad I was shocked.

If it was my favorite QB in the NFL doing that, I would blame the offensive line or the OC.

2019 at SDSU was with Trey. So was the Natty.

Trey ran the ball 30 times vs JMU and threw it 10 times. We won

2019 vs SDSU. Trey Lance throws for 62 yards and runs it 18. We won again

Same formula as today

Easton runs it 14 times, the 2nd most attempts....and only throws for 130 and 5.9 yards per pass. We won

Und is a formidable opponent this year but result couldve easily been 30-7 and their one TD Eubanks got caught looking in backfield then Center did quick snap. Something that will easily be fixed and addressed.

Our defense is very deep and good. Playcalling was awful for most the game. Watson is a draft pick and Sproles should have tryouts. Where are they? This is a run first team with a lot of QB run. We will need to get used to it, but you gotta utilize the receivers and tight ends can help us a lot.

Or we could have had risky throws or a tipped ball pick and UND wins. We had zero turn overs. That's the difference
