Carter Schmidt just picked up a really nice comeback win to stay alive...and I noticed Sykora matside. Quick check and I hadn't realized Schmidt also flipped his commitment to OU.

Licht and Greenley both didn't get within 2 matches of AAing...big woof.

Greenley looked slower and his defense was markedly worse. He needs to develop something other than his swing single. Very disappointing performance IMO.

Licht hasn't had a great year. He has spurts where he looks really good, but he is a guy that has been consistently falling in the rankings over the last year, and likely will again if anyone updates their 2023 rankings.

LJ Araujo from ND is in the quarterfinals in greco.

Bison recruit Tyler Secoy took second in Greco at 170 pounds. He lost 5-4 to Nick Fox of Iowa.

I didn't watch much Greco, but that's nice. LJ Araujo also got 2nd and Alex Braun got 7th.

Zane Licht and Macray Klohs are both in the portal after their first year.

Licht was a top 100 prospect at one point, but fell off his senior year and then didn't show much his freshman year. I would be very surprised if these are the only two members of this freshmen class that enter the portal.

Mooberry in the portal now too, which is a headscratcher to me. Maybe wants to see if he’ll have more success at a lower level?

Not great. Markell Rivera Cain, who was a top 150 kid in the 2023 class and a 197, never wrestled a match for NDSU after signing and hasn't been on the roster for a few weeks.

Amantee Mills in the portal too. Another top 200 recruit from the 2023 class. This team was already perilously thin and the class they're bringing in doesn't look to have immediate impacts, so maybe we see a change in portal strategy this year.
