Northwestern got all 10 to Detroit, Northwestern.
Northwestern got all 10 to Detroit, Northwestern.
I agree that Tagg should have gotten one, I had it as Tagg, Burwick, LaJoie, and Hines, March with an outside shot if they punished Hines injury defaults
I think Brown only met one criteria, one place out of AQ, no win over a NQ, RPI, Coaches poll
Tagg probably has 3, win against NQ, RPI, Coaches Poll
Burwick probably has 4, win against NQ, RPI, Coaches Poll, One place out of AQ
LaJoie probably has 3, win against NQ, RPI, One Place out of AQ
Hines probably has 2 win against NQ, Coaches Poll
March had 2, win against NQ, Coaches Poll
Zaccone I really don't get, win against NQ, Place out of AQ is all he has, had a bad loss in the first round of the Socon Tourney
I Guess in conclusion I think Tagg is the one I think really got screwed in the selections
On a positive note, DJ Parker ends his year ranked #33 in InterMat's rankings.
Brackets come out a 5pm tonight
Dylan is the #21 seed and will face Penn's 12th seeded CJ Composto in the first round.
Very winnable opening match. If he won, he would then have Andrew Alirez, who he was close with
Clay Carlson of SDSU could realistically make the semis at 141. Some have reported Eierman has a torn ACL and Carlson has beaten #10 seeded Bergeland multiple times
Franek is not on Carr's side of the bracket. That is awesome
Franek is the #6 seed and will have 27th Garrett Model of Wisonsin in the first round.
His path to the finals would likely need to go: Model, O'Connor (national champ), Teemer (beat Franek last year), and Ryan Deakin.
Just a brutal path
I think Franek can beat O'Connor, but to have a returning national champ (at 149) who is 17-2 in the second round is a huge WTF. Why is O'Connor seeded that low?
Weber is the 16 seed and will have #17 seed Brian Meyer of Lehigh in the first round. Very tough first round matchup.
A win would see Weber take on top seeded Evan Wick.
