Can't find a decent place to post this so I thought maybe in the Sagarin thread where we talk about rankings and standings and such. Anyway, which team is going to take SHSU's place as the decent/good team that plays in a shitty conference and will continually get seeded way too high year in and year out?

I think for the first few years that team could come out of the CAA because it will carry the perception of being a top conference when in reality it's filled with mediocre teams.

but eventually there is going to be some high flying team from a terrible conference that will keep getting a high seed because they destroy their terrible schedule every year.

IMO, SDSU coaches aren't as patient as NDSU coaches. NDSU will run plays knowing that they'll work.

It's like the QB power, nobody likes it, but it 50% of the time, it works every time.

Get 3.34 yards. Only need 3 of those for 1st down!

I’m not taking anything away from the Bobcat win over the Jackrabbits, but let’s but the circumstances of those two games into context. SDSU beat us at home coming off a bye week whereas the Bobcats played the Rabbits at home after the rabbits had consecutive weeks with trips to the west and east coast.

Someone mentioned SDSU coaches not being patient. Sure seemed that way as I believe only rushed the ball 12 times in the second half averaging maybe 2 yds per carry after having averaged around 5 the first half. They seemed to get real pass happy in the second half. A heavy dose of Leupke and Williams with a healthy Watson threatening the jet sweep and I’m certain we can average 5 plus yards a carry and get to the magic number of 162 rushing yards before the 4th quarter even starts.
