He isn’t a great runner. Lacks speed and, like you mention, seems a bit adverse to mixing it up.

Nah we'll be in every game we play. The only game we won't be favored will be the Bunnies but it will be a close competitive game.

After week 1 NDSU is the 4th or 5th best team in the MVFC. The good news is they have the most upside. I will reserve further judgement until after the Towson game.
SDSU may be the best coached team in the Country right now.

At worst we're 3rd best. I'd put us and SIU in the 2nd and 3rd spots, so close it doesn't really matter which order.

This was a typical winning strategy game for the Bison. Run the ball well, be accurate throwing, play good defense. Play like this all year; and we journey to north Texas again. Quincy didn’t do anything that will get him on sportscenter, but other then the fumble was solid. Went 12/16 and a couple of those were dropped. 75% is great! He will get better as the season goes on. Was a beautiful day for the return of tailgating!

I agree with most of this. We're going to have a lot of wins this year that look like games from 2011-2016, where we completely control the game and win by "only" 10-15 points. Not sure if that gets us all the way to Frisco, but it will get us to the semis for sure.

I know everyone wants Quincy to be the fucking Terminator out there but he has said every time he’s asked that he doesn’t like running people over and he doesn’t love contact.

He definitely doesn't run and look for contact like Brock/Wentz/Stick/Trey. It surprised me considering his NC vs Va Tech tape. Doesn't mean he can't be the next guy but it was the biggest surprise of the day.

Sorry I don’t think we should have been passing on that second to last play either. You almost never see that in any game Anywhere. It seems like a completely classless move. I mean if you were trying to rub it in to say SDSU fine but we thoroughly dominated this opponent in the second Half and didn’t need to be in the gun with 20 seconds left.
