Under no definition by anyone is 2500 students a "smaller" high school. We have a few high schools in the 4000-5000 student range but those at 2500 are not considered smaller relative to all the schools in the state. They would be about 15-20 in size of about 400 schools. That's top 5%. Illinois has about 800 high schools in the IHSA so also top 5%.
