There will be because there has to be and everybody knows it, including the special 4 - The current “playoff” system is killing college FB
I think it would be a huge mistake for NDSU to wait for clarity on this question, because there is only one answer.

Current proposal is for the top 6 conference champs to receive an automatic invite and the 6 highest ranked non-champs after that are at-larges. So that'll be at least one G5 annually... maybe 2 every once in a blue moon if a conference like the Pac12 has a conference champ ranked in the teens again.

I agree with the second statement. I understand that we can’t just move up but a push towards FBS needs to happen sooner rather than later.
