There have been lots of plays this spring where I have noticed receives open all over the field but for whatever the reason our QBs can't make the completion for various reasons. Poor pass, poor reads, poor offensive line play. It has been quite obvious most of the spring and if we can execute our OC looks like a hero. I mean Watson has been open so many times and we fail to make a good pass it is frustrated or maybe he even drops the pass. This even happened last fall with Trey as there were several big plays that were just screwed up or the WR completely dropped the pass. People on ESPN keep bringing up this game and his low accuracy, but if those plays are easily made as they should be his numbers would have looked much better. If memory serves correctly Watson missed an easy long TD with an easy drop.

We were just speculating on why Zeb was starting over Cam when Cam is clearly better. Playbook knowledge seems like a decent hypothesis.
