I think it’ll be up to our offense to keep us in the game/blow it open. Give it to the juggernaut and Gonnella early and often. Try to catch them sucking in with Watson and TE’s running seams every once in a while.

Nervous about our pass D. UNI can’t throw a football to save their lives. SDSU is really different and their QB can run too. Going to be a massive test for our defense with out Josh Hayes.

We must convert better on 3rd downs to get some momentum. I don't see them holding SDSU to a really low score, so they're going to have to stay on the field more and then score more.

All week my head has said SDSU wins but now that we're to game day and this thing is actually happening my heart is overruling my head.

Conference title on the line. Home field until Frisco on the line. The marker on the line. All the chips are down. Let's go!!!!

27-17 Bison win. Corners need to defend well. LBs need to make tackles. D line will be solid as usual and hopefully last week learned how to contain a mobile QB. Waage and Ching time.

This game is won or lost on how the Rams open holes. If Zeb throws more than 11 times, we're in trouble.

Things I’ll be watching today include:

    - 1st Jackrabbits possession - they have scored on 1st drive 4 of 5 games this spring

    - 2nd quarter SDSU dominance - have outscored opponents 59 to 7

    - True FR QB Mark Gronowski - is he comfortable in the pocket?
He is a running threat, but also needs to pass for the Jacks to not be one-dimensional (we know how the Bison D likes making an opponent 1D)

    - RB Pierre Strong - 5’ 11” 210 - averages 5.2 ypc
And when Strong needs a break, now the Jackrabbits have
    Isaiah Davis - FR - 6’ 1” 220 - a real nice get as a recruit from Joplin MO.
Davis ‘only’ averages 7.8 ypc - Yikes!

    - Janke Twins - 6’ 2” & 6’ 3” WR - tall, just the way SDSU likes ‘em.
With NDSU losing CB Josh Hayes, seems likely Stig will try to exploit that...

    - In the red zone, who scores for SDSU?
The Jackrabbits have been very good in the Redzone this season, much better than the Bison.
Surprisingly it isn’t Pierre Strong scoring (1 TD). It is, shades of a Brock Jensen/Easton Stick - QB Gronowski (6’ 3” 200) with 6 TD’s and backup RB Davis with 4

    - Where is DE Spencer Waege? SDSU has a really nice RT in soph Garret Greenfield (6’ 6” 295). Does Waege get moved around to take advantage of match ups? As mentioned, am hoping the Bison D make Gronowski uncomfortable & he has happy feet all day

    - And most important, how is the Bison play calling?
Is this the game where NDSU has to establish the pass 1st to then set up the run???
Or does Stig have 8 Jacks in the box? And get away with it?
With not having a running threat at QB, have enjoyed seeing faster developing runs, the pitches and the outside runs etc.

    GoBizon!!!
