    Brookings has a newspaper,
    who knew?

    https://brookingsregister.com/articl...wdown-in-fargo

Gronowski has thrown for 902 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions while completing 55% of his passes this season. He has ran for 257 yards and six touchdowns.

The Jacks will be getting back their leading rusher Saturday in Pierre Strong Jr. He missed the Southern Illinois game with a foot injury. Strong has ran for 358 yards and a touchdown in four games this season.

Sam Herder article on implications of the
    NDSU - SDSU game.

    https://herosports.com/fcs-football-...-preview-bzbz/

    Interesting thought from it.
What if the Jackrabbits got to host a spring playoff game?
They might actually have good weather......
Could they draw more than the 3000-5000 they normally get for a winter game? Would SD covid rules allow for that?

Was wondering on that, remembered the Coyotes somewhat limited their attendance for the Bison game that was then canceled. SDSU only had 2653 fans for the YSU game - 50 degree day w/light wind.

The Jackrabbit two-deep depth chart is on page 10,
    the roster is page 11.
Some odds and ends on the Jackrabbit two-deep depth chart:

    - starting C Wes Genant is from Parkston SD,
same hometown as former Minnesota Vikings OT Riley Reiff

    - backup RG Bo Donald, 6’ 6” 300 Kimball SD, was a NDSU offer.
Donald is 2nd team behind a senior RG, so could start next season (?)

    - starting WR Canyon Bauer, 6’ 195 RFr Sioux Falls, was a NDSU offer

    - sometimes the Plan B turns out alright......
Starting QB Mark Gronowski is a true FR from Illinois.
iirc the Jackrabbits were recruiting someone else, someone else decided late to go elsewhere (FBS?), Stig & Co give a late offer to Gronowski which he quickly accepted. (zero stars, offers from Butler, Valparaiso Quincy and Bemidji State)(How is this success possible??!!......)

    - starting DE Reece Winkleman is from Marshall MN, hotbed of small town football. In addition to Trey & Bryce Lance & Trey Steinbach, Bison were recruiting Yaya Black, who chose Iowa. iirc Gophers have a starting OL from Marshall, plus there is a 2022 FBS recruit, Deylin Hasert. Plus there could be more.

    - backup DE Tolu Ogundinde, when a big RB in high school (Cottage Grove MN), was getting NDSU recruiting interest

    - 3rd team NT Brandon Lane, as a true FR, was a NDSU offer (Kansas City)

    - starting DT Krockett Krolikowski, one of the great football names, celebrates a sack by ‘stirring the Krock Pot’

    - backup LB Payton Schafer (Cottage Grove MN) is a Bison legacy

    - starting Jr CB Malik Loftin had a NDSU offer

I'm picking SDSU in this one. NDSU has showed good improvement and I feel if they could convert another 3rd down or two early in the game, they could start to get in a groove, but that just hasn't happened and this is a much better opponent.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Didn't NCAA set a 25% limit for playoffs?
