Post usd cancelation thread

Sorry guys but the game cancellation had nothing to do with Covid. It was cancelled because of my Grandmas funeral. She was a die hard bison fan and passed away before the UND game and I know she had a serious discussion with God that there was no way UND could win a game the week of her funeral. Plus a former Bison player had to do do the funeral so it was cancelled out of respect .

This is something new. Down here the word is that NDSU had multiple Tier 1 personnel infected, had positive tests on Wednesday, and had a positive test on Saturday morning. Nothing about USD having COVID issues. Game was cancelled because of COVID issues within the NDSU program.

Now honestly, I could give a crap who had what because it's nothing either team can really control. The irony is that the bars in Vermillion were PACKED all day with Bison fans all over the place. A good time was had by all. None of this makes any sense.

You are correct, the only positive was from NDSU. The confusion came from our AD. He was told by the medical staff Saturday morning that both teams had positives and he passed on that information to the media. By the time he got the correct information, the story was already out.

If you as much as acknowledge that the kids will be ok, it means you are a bad person- we MUST act in complete and utter terror.
