Sadly oru greatly outshines ndsu in basketball accomplishments to me. Sweet sixteen is better than an infinite amount of single wins. They were also completely in for the elite 8. That shot really could have gone in. I am still in awe at how good oru was at the end. They definitely belonged.

Summit had 3 teams as close to the Dance as ORU was to the elite 8.

I had the exact same thought. I’d say the transitive properties of sports wouldn’t necessarily mean we were 1 missed foul call away from the sweet 16, but it’s cool to think about.
