Took a peek at the replay of last years game again UN_. It's quite shocking the number of impact players just on the first drives who weren't here this year:

Lance
Williams
Brooks
Jabril
Hendricks

That was just on the first series. Just startling how different the team looks. Each play was another reminder of another person not here anymore.

It is a well know fact that SDSU craps all over themselves at least one game a year. They do it so bad they basically will the other team to victory through bad play after bad play. Not trying to take away UND's play in the game...but man did SDSU shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly. SDSU would have done the same in the fall...maybe not against UND, but against somebody.

I’ve said many times we were a highly unlikely three play sequence away from getting our doors blown off by them. Anyway, your post also says this is normal for them so not really a good example of abnormalities benefitting UND.

Could you imagine how gutted teams like Ohio St or Oregon would've been had they followed through with playing in the spring? Probably dozens of opt-outs for those high profile P5 teams if you include seniors.
