Agree. Cast a new nickel with Hawk instead of the Indian head. Simple, easy and keeps tradition. Nickel doesn't have to be of a coin that is in circulation. If the schools want to do a commemorative edition as way to raise some funds, have at it. The Nickel trophy cannot be replaced in my eyes Any other trophy would be subpar.

It would be fitting because it's not worth much. No one wants it but the powers that be won't take it out of circulation. And given enough time it'll eventually show its true colors.

You’re correct. Probably because I know how to spell losing. Loose is the opposite of tight. Losing is the opposite of winning. I have no idea what loosing is other than than the opposite of tighting which isn’t a real word either.
