Undefeated vs UNI fans, BVille Libtards, Tony, Pulmonary Embolisms & Bad Vibes
We lost the game during playoffs against JMU because JMU took away our passing game and ex OC TP was lost.
We won some nail biting, edge of the seat games against UNI, Redbirds and SDSU because Carson made some incredible throws, RJ (our Cooper Cupp) + Darrius Shepard , made some incredible catches.
There have been times where we have not passed much such as Eastons first year plus and even early in our run Brock struggled at times and we ran alot more than we passed. Back then though the only route we ran was an out pattern for the most part.
With defenses stuffing the box so much we should have great play action pass plays or even let the backs slip out of the backfield. I know other people have mentioned the same thing here, but I grew up watching the 49ers true west coast offense and they passed to the RBs alot almost like a quasi run play. Someone remind Tyler Roehl about his pass reception (stats say a run play) against the Gophers where he took it to the house. We need to get back to these easy passes to spread the field and get it into our playmakers hands, but we haven't been doing this for a number of years now so my hope is not high.
If it flies it dies.
Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.
Anybody seen a wheel route from the backs yet? Maybe our backs suck at catching the ball??
