That is good considering NDSU was 10th in the conference in both rushing yards allowed and total yards allowed.

Something about conference statistical rankings don’t actually tell you much about how good you are, maybe? Just throwing that out there…

Just showing that the defensive stats weren't totally bad even though there were complaints about the defense throughout the year -- especially early on.
It's OK to not be OK.

Got it. I agree. Wasn't the dominant D we are used to, but compared to the rest of the country it was pretty good statistically and got us to a natty.

Can someone please hire this guy? Can coach K hire him as an offensive-analyst video assistant? He can scout the RB's from the opposing team and be the hydration engineer in his free time.

Unless Roehl can finally realize how crappy his overall game plan is (lack of effective passing and too much reliance on A gap power run), and immediately makes changes to improve it, he should be demoted back to RB and TE coach. Then again, Entz seems to be oblivious to what needs to be done so doubtful anything changes.

Well, you cant run vanilla because you're saving the playbook for SDSU and then make dramatic changes and wonder why the players dont execute. You have to work on the passing game all year, even if its vs Drake and we score 90. You cant not rep something because the competition sucks. Phil Hanson talked about it all season and ultimately he was spot on
