    Default Ndsu ewu preview

Don't like thier mobile QB vs our D with depleted Secondary & LB.

NDSU should have Brock Jensen in pregame lockerroom speech

230 Saturday. only 4675 fans (25%) thanks NCAA!

This game ranks right next to Colgate from a few years ago in the care factor.

I think this game will tell us a great deal about our coaching staff. Can they get the team back on track after yesterday's beating? Can they get a better performance out of the D?

We will probably need to score at least upper 20s to win

Going to have to do it old school. Be more physical, run the football, own the TOP.

EWU wont stop NDSU'S run game
NDSU wont stop EWU pass game

imperative that NDSU gets a lead & leans on time of possession

The last time Eastern Washington went on the road for a non championship playoff game was 2009 when they lost at Stephen F Austin in the first round.

In 2010, they beat SE Missouri, NDSU, and Villanova - all at home before winning the national championship over Delaware in Frisco.

In 2012, they beat Wagner and Illinois State and then lost to Sam Houston - all at home.
In 2013, they beat SDSU and Jacksonville and then lost to Towson - all at home.
In 2014, they beat Montana and then lost to Illinois State - both at home.
In 2016, they beat Central Arkansas and Richmond and then lost to Youngstown - all at home.

In 2018, they beat Nicholls, Davis and Maine, all at home before losing to NDSU in Frisco.

    Road with some knowledge.
I'd feel better about this game with 19,000 fans screaming

I really like this matchup. I don't think EW can stop NDSUs run game and we'll finally (I'd hope) be playing a mobile QB. We need to run out big tailback right at them a lot. I think NDSU gets a lead, controls TOP and forces EWU to pass a lot and that leads to turnovers. Bison win in a throwback.

I really like our draw. I think EWU and Sam are paper tigers. JMU and SDSU are good obviously if chalk holds, but you're going to play good teams in the semis and finals no matter what.

Despite everything and all the losses (NFL, leaving for jobs after graduation, transfers, the glass in the press box, etc.), this team still can easily get to the semis and who knows after that. This is kinda like the team that lost in Cheney....early days for many of the players, can they make it happen in the playoffs against teams not used to the physical Valley? I think EWU and Sam could be like Montana State from that year. Only thing missing is DJ McNorton to score "4 rushing touchdowns"...maybe that is replaced by a certain young man from Wisconsin?

    Let's do this!
