Excited to see Zeb. Expecting big things from Seth this year as well.

Spring season feels weird to say the least but happy the wait is over.

    Things I’ll be watching include:

    - QB - of course - Zeb Noland’s 1st start!
But also, who is 2nd QB in? If that happens today, is it RFr Logan Graetz? He has prototype QB size at 6’ 4”, but a little lean still at a listed 213. Or is it the highly rated true freshman recruit? Cam Miller is 6’ 1” 205, more similar in size to a young Easton Stick. Miller is 247’s highest rated NDSU recruit in the 247 era (followed by Soph LB Luke Weerts and FR TE Joe Stoffel).
Bisonville missed having a spring game where QB play/development was something fun to watch

    - Speaking of TE’s, will the Top 2 be utilized more in the passing game? An annual question it seems...
Who is the 3rd TE in the game? The highly rated Stoffel, or the more experienced Austin Avery? Or is it wine country product Travis Yohnke? (Carlos MN - Parkers Prairie HS)

    - With this being the 2020 season, followed shortly next August by the 2021 season, is this the year all position groups rotate players??? Especially thinking of the LB group here. When, in recent memory, have the Bison regularly used their bench for the LB’s? Nada......RB’s, WR’s, TE’s, DE’s, DT’s, 5th DB......Yes......those groups substituted each possession......but not LB, not very much OL, really not too much at DB.

    - OL depth - One debate during the off-season was the size of the Rams. The starting 5 is normal huuge Bisonsize......But the second 5 is a bit different. The loss of the 2 seniors - Radunz to the NFL draft process and Schoening to his career choice - really changed the look of Bison depth. Two, yes 2 true freshman on the 2 deep depth chart. When was the last time that happened? And a RFr also on the 2 deep. Perhaps all 3 are the next Ram version of Billy Turner/Joe Haeg/Dillon Radunz or perhaps depth will need to be developed. More likely it is a combination of the 2 - but am hoping for an All-Conference player or two from the group down the road.

    - Finally, as I have rambled on too much on a quiet Sunday (unlike Saturday......whew)
Is there a slight style change in the offense with Zeb Noland at the helm? More quick passing game? Quick-release reads available due to less QB runs? How do Braylon Henderson/RaJa Nelson get utilized? Is the QB under center a lot to take advantage of play-action?
Will be fun to watch! Go Bizon!!!

Excited to see the emergence of some new playmakers on the defensive side of the ball. Tony Pierce, Javier Derritt, Jasir Cox, Luke Weerts, and Jayden Price are my picks for emerging stars.

I also am hopeful to see a reloaded O-line ready to grade the road and maintain their dominance.
