Too me floating down a beautiful river flowing through a valley full of private property doesn’t seem all that great. Sitting on a boat deep in lake country early in the morning with the fog lifting and listening to loons call while looking at a shoreline full public land. It’s all about perspective.

I wouldn't even consider Bozeman a true ski town. Closest ski area is Bridger 16 miles away. Big Sky is what 30-35 miles? I mean drivable to ski areas yes but I consider ski towns places like aspen/park city/breckenridge/teton village that literally at the ski mountain. Somewhat put Jackson & Bozeman in the same "group".

Bozeman has benefitted from the influx of rich Californians (and rich people in general check out yellowstone club by big sky, think it's close to half a mil just to join the club then you have to build a ritzy house/condo on whatever land you purchase there too, maybe not a requirement but if you're going to drop that kind of cash wouldn't you want to?), and good for them. Most native Bozeman and Belgrade people that lived there over 20+ years say it has changed for the worse with many of them bringing their Cali ideas and implementing them on MT.

Have they announced a DC yet? Think he could pull AJ Cooper or John Richardson from Wazzu? Maybe Stanard from KSU? Maybe Willie Mac Garza (so much purple) or Mike Breske (slightly less purple).

Just trying to think of guys he's worked with since NDSU that dont have bigtime FBS gigs.
This is not 'Nam. This is Bisonville. There are rules here.

You are correct, it can be kinda bad. Although it's not quite as bad on the east end of the state where more people are involved with agriculture, those folks appreciate what ND does when it comes to ag.

Do you do that every day? I can fish a different a different piece of water everyday where I live. Floating???? If thats your thing great. But thats not the end all for the majority of people.

Where I live in MN there is NO other place that I would rather be and Ive lived in 7 different states and have traveled the majority of them.

Congrats---youve found your home. Stay there.
