2021 FCS Realignment

I've hard rumblings about both the WAC and ASUN moving up to FBS as a conference. If that's anything beyond pure pipe dream it means that FBS as we know it today is going to be completely different in a few years... and likely will include pretty much the entire MVFC/CAA/Big Sky in addition to these startup leagues.

Nothing makes the FCS more “small time football” quite like adding a pile of D-II move ups and a D-I start up along with forming new conferences by gutting other established conferences. I understand realignment but this to me is not a great look for the division.

I mean...thats sorta the role of the division. "We want to be D1 but we don't have the interest/resources/invite into the FBS."

It is what it is. NDSU was a move-up too not so long ago.

The division has been lacking a great look for some time. This is what the FCS carrying on looks like.
