    Default 2020-2021 Indoor Season

After 2 meets for the NDSU Men, Bison Senior (WF Packer alum), Alex Talley leads in NCAA in the WEIGHT THROW (75' 1 3/4") and has the 2nd best SHOT PUT throw (64' 2 1/2"). Texas Longhorn stud Adrian Piperi has the top throw (67' 7 1/2")

Bison Women's team thrower Akealy Moton (also a former Packer), holds the #2 spot nationally in the SHOT PUT (56' 9 1/2"). The current NCAA leader in this event is Josie Schaefer of Wisconsin (59' 4 1/4").

Bison Sophomore Max Otterdahl recorded a PR in the indoor shot put in Grand Forks today.

Today's 64' 6" effort is nearly 6 feet further than big brother Payton's top throw as a sophomore (58' 8").

No way in hell that automatically translates to a 77'+ future mark as a senior, but it's fun to dream.

After a tough weekend for Bison athletics some good news. Bison men and women both win the Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships! The domination continues!

Trevor Otterdahl took 4th place in the WT with a PR of 73' 5 1/4".

Alex Talley finished 6th missing 5th place by just 2 centimeters.

8 team points in that event.

Amy Herrington didn't make the finals in the women's WT.

Talley and Otterdahl have advanced into the shot put finals. Thomsen missed the finals by half an inch. Surprisingly, Piperi of Texas and Geist of Arizona failed to make the cut.

Moton also in the finals on the women's side.

Four Bison Track & Field athletes achieved 1st Team All American status this weekend.

Akealy Moton, Trevor Otterdahl, Alex Talley, and Max Otterdahl.

Trevor and Max join big brother Payton in receiving this prestigious honor.

Can't imagine that there many (if any) other groups of three siblings in the US that have accomplished this.

The local press needs to acknowledge this ASAP!

Congrats to the All Americans for their accomplishments! This is a BFD! As an old timer I am saddened how far T & F has fallen off the radar of the media and sports fans in general.

Indoor Championships are complete on the men's side.

NDSU scored 15 team points and finished 12th.

2nd consecutive NCAA Indoor Championship meet that NDSU was only small school in the top 20.

USD placed 2 guys in the pole vault. Their 9 team points was good for a tie for 22nd.
