This is what I’m gathering out of it. Unless I read over it, covid wasn’t stated as a reason for the cancellation.

Appears that way... too bad they couldn't have made that decision sooner so the conference could've rescheduled UND vs Missouri St for this week.

Upon further consideration I think it's best for the FCS to just cancel the season and get ready for fall!

Nationally broadcast games include two quarterfinals at 5PM and 8PM CT on ESPN2 on Sunday 5/2, a semi at 1:30PM on ABC on 5/8, a semi on either ESPN or ESPN2 on 5/8, and the championship game at 1PM on ABC on 5/16.

That outcome would make heads explode in both Fargo and Virginia. Personally, I'd rather the Bison have to travel to JMU and beat them in their own building...just to shut them up. Plus, I can never really root for the Whioux.
