From NFL Network (Ian Rapoport):
The Colts quarterback plans to rest and rehab his foot injury over the next few days rather than undergo an immediate procedure, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
This leaves the door open for Wentz to be available for Week 1. A caveat to powering through the ailment is that medical personnel believe the sixth-year QB would be much less mobile, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported. But if his foot doesn't improve, surgery might be required, Rapoport added.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

The Colts should trade for Easton Stick. Since the patriots didn't already do it, which I said would be genius because Stick was pretty much made for that offense, then the next best place would be wherever Wentz is at.
The next next best place for Stick is wherever Gase ends up as an offensive coordinator. He would excel in that offense.
Most QBs don't get hurt extra often just because they run except Wentz. He needs to quit running anyways.

Hoping nothing but a quick and full recovery for Carson. He has the talent to be a top notch QB and Indy is a perfect situation. He deserves quick healing and continued health. Wishing Carson the best!

Starting to feel like C Dubs just might have that kind of shitty luck.

5-12 weeks seems like a really odd time frame.
