I really like Wentz. The dude is a stand up guy who has strong character and persona. There's nothing to dislike what he represents as a person.
But you can't deny that, for whatever reason, he seems to be one of those players that goofy shit just comes about around him. From his injury riddled MVP caliber year that the backup QB came in to win the SuperBowl for them, to basically carrying one of the worst active rosters the NFL has seen in 2019 to the playoffs basically all by himself (and getting shit on for not putting up video game stats), to getting hurt in the playoff game because his oline is garbage and let a controversial cheap shot artist go after his head, to having his organization draft a 2nd round gimmick QB when there were questions that needed to be addressed all over the offense, to being known as the guy that got the superbowl head coach fired and forced his way out, to coming to Indianapolis that arguably SuperBowl ready, to getting hurt on the 2nd day of practice and having surgery, to getting on the COVID list because he doesn't want to get vaccinated, to starting a hyped season with an oline that has literally been a shell of what it was last year, to being a laughing stock of a player who sprains both ankles and then starts the next week, to basically being the guy who has been the reason his team went from SuperBowl hopefuls to an 0-3 and this close to a lost season start, despite actually playing pretty decent through all their problems that nobody is even acknowledging.
Shit, for whatever reason, just seems to follow him where he goes in the NFL.
