Looks like Amy is going to go from 0-60 starting March 25th in Carlsbad, California, then the ANA, and on through the first part of May in Asia. She should be rested up and ready to rumble! Looked for a while there that she might have to take an actual job at Bell Bank. (Hold the email! Just a weak joke).

Pairings are out for the Kia Classic in Carlsbad this week. Should be a nice warmup for the ANA major next week!

Amy will be paired at 12:11 on the first tee with LPGA veterans Sarah Jane Smith of Australia and Alena Sharp of Canada:

The LPGA schedule on Golf channel really sucks. Crazy telecast times for a lot of the tourneys. Yes, I know the PGA and Senior tours rule.

Tough 1st day for Amy. 3 over 75. She had a 35 putt round. Leader sits at 5 under par.

Good recap dufferole. The top five scorers for day 1 putted 27, 27, 30, 29, and 27 times versus Amy’s 35. She doesn’t need to be among the best putters on the LPGA to win tournaments, but top 50 or so with 30 or less putts averaged per round would probably be enough considering the other great parts of her game. She has shown glimpses of that part of her game (putting) stepping up.

She is currently three over the projected cut line with ten holes to play today. Time to kick it up a notch dufferole!

She has had 4 birdies and a TRIPLE BOGEY this round with 6 holes remaining. 2 over is the projected cut line right now and that is where she sits.
