Cognizant Founders Cuo this week dufferole. Seems that Amy has as great an appreciation for the sacrifices of the founders and the history and tradition as anyone out there on the LPGA. Here’s to an excellent week for her playing and remembering and honoring the greats! Nice prize money this week as well!

Yuck. Another double bogie also. 8 of 18 gir. Gir was her strength. Now not so much.

Amy shot a 2 under 70 in her 2nd round. She had 2 birdies and no bogies. She was 14 of 18 gir (better) and took 31 putts. She sits 1 over for the tourney. Projected cut is at even par but it is early. There seems to be a lot of birdies to be had on this course.

Another weekend and week off and then on to Las Vegas for match play. Doubles don’t cause as much pain in that type of venue, but hopefully she eliminates them beforehand regardless. Would like to see her play well there for some confidence leading up to the US Open. Time to get back to basics and start shining big time in GIR like she has done at high levels in the past. Fairways and greens and repeat. A to B.

The week after will be the US Women’s Open. If that one doesn’t turn things around, it’s time for some hard, drastic and immediate changes.

Here are Amy’s stats for 2022. The comparison is drastic versus last year and other recent years. You have to go back six years to find anything similar.

In the Bank of Hope match play, Amy surrendered a 3 hole up in the 1st 6 holes to finish with a tie in her match with Alison Lee.
