Very true Mangy. If this is the type of tourney for her to turn it around then let’s go!

Amy shot another +3 today and sits in 94th place. Another missed cut I’m assuming

It’s tough to watch her go through a spell like this Pucknut. Doesn’t seem fair, but like the saying goes, the fair only comes around in October.

She will have a few extra days to get ready for the Irish, and then back home to prepare for the Canadian Open. Wonder if she can get with Pete Cowen while she is still over there. If not, maybe she can arrange something for when she gets back, as she will have two weeks off. It’s way beyond time for a new swing coach and possibly some other big changes. It’s just what has to be done to right the ship. Fresh eyes and a fresh approach. Lydia Ko on the extreme seems to shake things up a couple two three times a year, but she understands that a tiny change here and another there can make or break players at this level, where the difference between million dollar seasons and not making cuts is minuscule.

There is no reason she can’t add several seven digit years to her prize money over the next half decade if that is a goal, but she is going to have to make some tough calls first.

I have watched the LPGA telecasts for a long time and have seen players flame out at a young age (like Yani Tseng). I hope this isn't happening to Amy.

Leaderboard for the 2022 Women’s Open. The leader by a bunch is Ashleigh Buhai, and it seems that in the past Amy has been above her on the leaderboards more often than not. Here’s to a great finish for Ashleigh and a strong finish to 2022 for Amy as well. In the words of a long time Fargo businessman, “Ya gotta wanna!”.
