Amy goes out at 0731 with Christina Kim and Min Lee.

Here’s to a strong start and consistent under par rounds. I think it’s a course that might suit Amy just fine.

Windy conditions affect the scoring today at the Ascendant LPGA. Amy shot a 4 over 75 with 5 bogies and 1 birdie. She was 11 of 18 gir and took 32 putts.

An excellent report dufferole. Thank you.

Amy needs an eagle and some additional consistent Amy style smart play and she’ll make the weekend. She is actually a stats leader in eagles this year.

A little Texas/Bison Hook ‘em/Horns Up swagger wouldn’t hurt either. She has this and California and Florida to get into the top 100 for 2023 standing and the top 60 for an invite to the CME LPGA championship. Wonder if that course in Naples will be ready? Heart goes out to all there. Amy would be a great ambassador to be at that event at this extremely difficult time.

Amy shot an even par 71 today and sits 4 over for the tourney. She was 16 of 18 gir ( very good) but took 34 putts ( not good). The cut is currently at 3 over par.

Missed cut by one stroke dufferole. She has had that happen a few times this year, as it has been a tough one. The up side is that she has what it takes to turn it around even without her A game in place.

On to California and then Florida. Looks like she probably won’t be playing in the short Asian swing. She’ll drop a bit in the CME this week, but has two solid chances to make it up and hit that magic number of a 100 or less in the CME points race.

Obviously the short stick is killing her
