As they move to NBC Noh is one stroke from qualifying for the Cup team. Needs solo 8th or better.

    Thanks Audit!

Congrats to Anna Nordqvist for her win today, and to Lizette Salas of the US for her nice run as well!

Saw Amy yesterday at the FCC. Said she was having some equipment issues
and was trying our a few things. Said she will not be going to Asia, will be cutting
back a little and will be in Fargo a lot this fall.

Thanks for the update. The schedule was crazy this summer and I think she was probably grinding pretty hard to make the Cup team after playing very well early in the year.

It’s been a bit since I could say this with much interest, but pairings are up for this week in Portland:

Amy goes out early with Kupcho and Altomere, who both played on the Solheim Cup team. Good chance to gauge where she is at after a nice break.

Another tough day for Amy. 5 bogies ( 4 in a row on the back 9) and 1 birdie for a 4 over 76 in her 1st round of the Cambia Portland Classic. She took 31 putts and was 11 of 18 gir. She was briefly on the telecast on the 18th hole. Jennifer Kupcho slammed her club into the ground after a poor shot and the camera followed her for a few steps and showed Amy walking nearby.

I have sometimes wished that Amy would play with more aggressiveness and intensity, but the fact that you’ll never see her slamming clubs around is one of her many endearing traits dufferole. If she wins, she’ll do it the right way.

Did you notice that Dame Laura Davies is almost at the top of the board at almost 58 years young? Maybe Amy will recover tomorrow and pair up with her on Saturday or Sunday!

Amy goes out about when the cameras start rolling on Friday (1:17pm), so here is to her getting hot and getting a little air time (for something good that doesn’t involve accidentally getting in the coverage while Kupcho is yelling out obscenities or the like).

Amy birdied her last hole and is sitting right on the cut line at +6. Only thing remains to be seen is if the cut line stays at plus six or moves to +5.
