Pairings are posted for the Lotte Championship in Hawaii. Amy goes out on the first tee at 0755 with Lexi Thompson and So Yeon Ryu in a very strong group to say the least! I think we will see a whole bunch of this group on Thursday’s Golf Channel coverage dufferole, although we’ll miss them on day 1. Tournament runs Wednesday through Saturday as Audit already noted.

Amy is T6 and -3 and her outstanding playing partners are -5 and -1 after 12 holes. Some may remember the dramatic battle between them at the ANA in 2017.

Looks like Amy may need to get a bit more aggressive on the par 5s. Her playing partners have birdied every one while Amy has birdied half of them. Easy to arm chair I know, but basing this on the belief that she is every bit as capable in this regard and plenty long and accurate. Should see a lot of this group tomorrow to get a better idea.

    What say you dufferole?

Thank you dufferole! Maybe putts down a bit (leaders had 24, 27, and 25), and a little more aggressive where possible!! Should get to see a lot of her group and hopefully Amy as well tomorrow and this weekend! Featured groups:

I am not going to comment on her putting anymore. I will just post the stats when available. I think she knows her key to improvement.

I hope she is on the telecast a lot today.

I believe you’re right dufferole. And I think that we will see a bunch of Amy and her featured group today, with them teeing it up right before the TV coverage gets underway.

Amy has birdied EVERY par 5 today, along with some others. And her total putts should end up around 27 or less. This while playing head to head with two of the greatest players of the past decade. Very very good!!!! I can ask for no more than that!
