After 5 bogies in the first 12 holes, Amy got 2 birdies to finish her 2nd round at 3 over and sits 2 under for the tourney. She was again 14 of 18 gir but took 34 putts.

Time for a new short game coach if this doesn’t change by season’s end dufferole. 34 putts is way too many. Maybe swing and short game both just for a jumpstart before next year. She’s got this and next week and the CME to right the ship. I’m sure nobody is less happy with those putting numbers than Amy is. Her GIR is on the money this week though.

Cant argue. She has the talent.

Amy finished her final round at 1 over par and 1 under for the tourney. She was 9 of 18 gir and took 29 putts. She is currently in a tie for 64th.

The checks she is cashing now are nowhere near what she was bringing in at other points in her efforts dufferole. Hopefully this week is a breakout for Amy, and no doubt she is ready for a nice finish! This sort of event this week that honors the LPGA founders would be a particularly good time for a nice showing! Don’t think that there are many with greater regard and respect for the founders than Amy.

I believe I predicted she would win 2 tournaments this year. I’d take one right now

Ditto. Something happened to her swing, especially her iron play. She was usually rock solid in gir but lately not.

Amy rallied to shot a 1 under 70 in the 1st round of the COGNIZANT FOUNDERS CUP. She birdied 2 of the last 4 holes. She was 14 of 18 gir and took 31 putts. No TV time for her though.

Amy shot a 3 under 68 in her 2nd round with 5 birdies and 2 bogies. She sit at 4 under for the tourney. She was 16 of 18 gir and took 31 putts. It looked like she left some strokes on the greens.
