Some of the crazy effort plays the DL was making against ETSU blew my tiny mind.

So glad that NDSU got Brayden Thomas on board. Just proves that D2 teams have a lot of talent too (which most of the old-timers like me would argue.)

Yep. Bison had many NFL guys when we were D2

What a gamer. Wish we could have had the dood for 4 years. Complete beast. All the best to Brayden in the next chapter of his life
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS

We could use more high level D2 kids to transfer to our squad. The transfer rules do work both ways and can help us.
    If it flies it dies.

Long for the days of freezing in the south stands of Dacotah Field.

Absolutely. If you think about it, when a Big Ten or SEC guy transfers, the whole country is trying to recruit him.

When a D2 guy transfers, nobody notices. Imagine if Adam Thielen entered the transfer portal in his Mankato days lol

Plenty of talented guys at Grand Valley, Valdosta, Duluth, Mankato, Sioux Falls, Augustana, Bemidji...

If you think about it. We got 50% of Mankato's starting D Line that made it to the D2 National Championship game. Thomas was not only a starter, but an impact player. Beutow was a key rotation guy. They weren't great right away but they were a big part of the 2021 team. But they got up to speed faster than most transfers.

I feel like most D2 transfers would be hungrier than FBS transfers. They want to prove themselves, prove they belong. I would guess most FBS transfer want to prove they are better because they came from the FBS. Just an assumption.

Don't forget Buetow to. He gave us some quality downs plugging the middle like a beast.

Brayden was on 1660 yesterday talking about how he is prepping for his chance at NFL. Excellent interview.
