Need to back off on this plan as covid - 19 has devastated NCAA revenues and this will continue to be a loss for ticket sales through most of 2021. Seats are empty nearly everywhere and this could be the new norm. Give this push a break until after 2022 season IMO. The sports media is trying to control this process just like the news is controlling our lives. Our administration needs to hold fast against this push from the media for now. They play on negatives as that is human nature to look for negatives first, its a survival instinct. I am shutting my 6 and 10 news off to regain confidence in America. Kimmel must work for NBC too as he is totally reading a bunch of negative BS.

There hasn't been a peep about it in 3 months.

My personal compiracy theory is that we are going to find out the new AAC football affiliate on July 1 (or whatever day the 2021-2022 year starts), and I bet everyone can guess who I think it is.

Regardless, the discussion has completely flipped 180 degrees. They talk about it all the time on 1660 now. The ESPN guy who did the SHU game was on last week talking to Culhane, and to paraphrase him – "it (the IPF) will help with the move to the next level, and I’ll be very curious to see how this plays out". At this point in time, NDSU is actively and openly advertising its FBS interest, which would have been unheard of 2 years ago.

NDSU has a much better shot than JMU at this point, fwiw …
