For more seats in the dome, go vertical with suites on the west side and bleachers in the corners. Engineers could see if the current structure could take the load. If not, beef up the existing steel if the pilings could handle the extra load. Another idea for the west side and would be option 2, Google inverted bowl design. In a nutshell, as you climb the stairs, you head towards the field, the seat is in front and the walkway to your seat is behind the seats. As you go higher, you get closer to the field. Do 10 rows like this and add 2 suites in each corner.

19000 sold out is more than adequate. Its the ticket revenue that is important. Adding 44 suites will generate more money than 3000 seats
Considering the FD is city owned and makes money and has many bookings through out the year they arent likely to shut down to just add seats for football.
Then what is the upside for NDSU if the suite money goes to the FD?

He must have a strange, deluded, jealous obsession with NDSU.

The funny thing about that thread he started is it makes it seem like we haven’t been talking about a move up to FBS since 2013...

Let it be noted that Bison 1980s QB Gary Barta, the head of the cfp selection committee, is the center of the fbs universe today.

If Notre Dame gets in, it’s everything wrong with the CFP.

Committee is in a bind. There is only two teams that deserve to be in this year but four spots.
