At some point, the FCS schools MUST do something that will make everything competitive again.

We've been here before and made the move about 10-12 years too late.

While I agree with this particular statement, I have no idea how it even relates to the discussion, as much as you might want it to. It is a straw man argument.
    Insert something clever here...

One of my favorite fan theories is that the other schools aren’t willing to invest the resources to unseat NDSU because it would take away their excuse of not being competitive every year.

Aka it was easier for golfers to tell their sponsors why they’ve never won a major when Tiger was winning all of them.

Exactly. People on here overrate the national attention that the FCS title gets. The BYU/Coastal game had way more exposure nationally than any FCS title game.

Agree. We get more exposure when we play and beat teams like K State, Iowa, and Oregon...

    for sure this!!

and my point about illinois, ucla, arizona, minnesota not EVER getting a NATL title shot is............ people say "NDSU wont get into CFP if they move up" well these schools DONT either!!!

Play 3 ranked power 5 teams in non conference, go 3-0 and go 9-0 in mountain west and you'd get a CFP look and a new years days bowl for sure.
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

Has any team with a conference affiliation ever played three ranked teams in non conference?

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

If they did it probably wasn’t on purpose. FBS games these days seem like they get scheduled a decade in advance.

Now that most of Bisonville have seen the light and support the move to FBS how long will it take for NDSU to actively and seriously pursue this?
